Location
This place was just plain dirty and nasty. Wires hanging, mold in the bathromm, nasty linen and a very nasty room!!!!!! Linen in on the bed was so bad that I slept with my cloths on, on top of the bed. I didn't dare get into bed. No way to ncontrol the heat, controld by the office. Save your money, sleep in your car.

The room was dirty. The smoke alarm kept beeping. Staff did not respond. I had to remove it so we could sleep.Except for checking in, never saw a member of staff in the two days we were there. Although we did not have the continental breakfast, we saw another guest knocking on the locked door trying to get in for coffee. Supposed to be available at 7:00. Still not open at 7:20. There was no heat, or extra blankets.
-
It was close to Windsor, Vermont where my father's funeral was held the following day.
-
The motel was in a nice country setting, instead of a town or city,
-
Near family home, good price, clean, warm, convenient website to make reservation
-
Manager was the only person who understood and spoke English and even then I had to speak to her on the Motel cell phone.
I would not even let my dog sleep in a room that looked like the room at Yankee Village Motel.

Nothing
Definitely not worth it. Worst value for money. Rooms were very small and mediocre. All the equipments were primitive the stand alone heater was so noisy we had hard time sleeping. Thank god we stayed just for one night

The price was the best for the area surrounding Okemo mountain, the king size bed was super comfortable, and the tv had about 30 channels with A&E, Discovery, Nick @ Nite, Food Network, and a couple other of my favorite cable channels.
Unfortunately, there was only one drawback to this place, and I don't know if it was a random thing or a persisting problem, but we found ants coming out of the wall. A few even made their way onto the bed, but for a young couple on a budget, it was worth it to stay. The four we found on the bed were small black ants, and we saw about four larger winged ants. Since it was winter they moved very slow but for a neat freak like me it was kind of disconcerting.
